Hierarchy is everywhere!
On the floor a pyramidal shape of special texture has been laid out And in my heart I’m jealous already. My eyes are like dogs sniffing at the letters spray-painted in light on a blank wall; pristine graffiti and a burnt out sun. Never mind the several hundred ‘I know you?’s unfolding around us, they just clutter up the space like discarded origami; I never knew You; you Never knew me, We were simply folded together; Everything spilling back from us As we began Sudden As a flock of birds flung upwards from old trees, Bright sparks of green and blue, rushing in an arc, a fuzzy crinkled mixture of bodies against sky, intimate as air against skin. Feathered in memory I feel myself at the centre of a vast field, The climate is blood warm. I admire the creative use of crotch, hairspray and laser beams. On my way home, I want to go back, I write, ‘This is a call to arms, ‘don’t abandon your own self’ I would like to encourage everyone I know to go see this show!
